OBITUARY
With sorrow and grief we inform that Mr. Wood has passed away. Sincerest & heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Wood. His years will be the epoch defined as the Wood years at St George's. He touched the lives of so many in such a positive and constructive way that he will be remembered for generations to come.
Our heartfelt grief and support to the family. May God give them the strength and courage to deal with this terrible loss.The entire Manorite fraternity is deeply saddened by the demise of Sir Wood.
Rest in Peace Dear Sir, you will forever be missed.
Burial will be held on Thursday 17 May 2012 at 3 p.m..
Mr Wood's funeral will be at 1500 hrs tomorrow at the All Saints Church, Coonoor. It was in this church that he was baptized and it was in this church that he and ma'am Wood were married in 1952. He will be buried in the church precincts.
All manorites are requested to stop whatever it is that you are doing at 1500 hrs tomorrow and think of Mr Wood and the family. Ma'am Wood and Angela too need a lot of support as both are passing through a harrowing time.

OBITUARY
Lt Gen SL Menezes, PVSM,SC(Retd)
I deeply regret to inform you about the sad demise of Lt Gen SL Menezes, PVSM, SC(Retd) in R&R Hospital due to pneumonia leading to multiple multiple organ failure on 11th May'2012 approx 1700 hrs. The Officer was born on 13th Nov'1922 Commissioned into 14th Bn the 4th Bombay GRENADIERS on 13th May 1943 and retired from service on 1st August 1980 as Vice Chief of Army Staff and Colonel THE GRENADIERS-Proud Manorite.
He is succeeded by his wife Mrs Gemma Menezes and daughter Francesca Kapur.
We pray to the almighty to bless his soul with everlasting peace and give strength to his family to bear this great loss.
A prayer meeting will be held after 30 days at the Cathedral Church, Gol Dak Khana, New Delhi followed by tea.

The Winter Banquet meet is being held on Sunday, 4th March 2012, 12.30pm onwards over Lunch. This change of event is especially being accommodated for after repeated requests from fellow Manorities travelling from NCR Delhi, Muss/Ddun, & other neighboring state sub-chapters who find it difficult to make it for overnight program being organized earlier.
